The process
Here, at The Yellow Chair, we have created a process to help move you from just dreaming about your project to the finished space that you can enjoy.
IT ALL STARTS WITH A PHONE CALL
Our process begins with a scheduled phone call with us to discuss your project in detail. During this phone call, we will provide you with a complimentary verbal estimate giving you a range of costs for all that you hope to accomplish.
ON-SITE CONSULTATION
After our phone conversation, we will schedule an on-site consultation in your space with our design and build team. In this consultation, a designer will discuss your style preferences in detail, and our general contractor will evaluate the structural needs of your project. A detailed scope of work will be established.
DESIGN QUOTE & VISION DETAILING
After our visit, we will provide you with a design quote and enter into our design phase of your project. During this phase an overall vision for your space is created as well as detailed drawings, and every detail of your new space is carefully selected.
CONSTRUCTION BID
Once the design is presented and approved, we provide a detailed construction bid to complete the project and we enter into the build phase.
BUILD TIME
During the build phase, our project management team handles all ordering, receiving and planning before the exciting 'demo day!' Once construction begins, you will get to know our talented in-house crew you are going to love! We handle most of the construction in-house but have a few trusted and vetted industry partners that also team up with us when needed. We love offering a full-service, turn-key renovation experience. You can sit back, relax, and let us do all of the heavy lifting.
THE REVEAL
The final, and favorite, part of our process is the end result. Once your project is complete, we like to do a furnishings and accessories installation, along with final professional photographs taken that you will receive as well. With this final stage, we promise to leave you with a space you will love and enjoy for years to come.
